水と緑が育む命 神宿る里
いのちの源である水、それを育むのは緑、自然の営みの中にあるすべての生命は、その環の中で共存している。
この地に生きる私たちの暮らしは、美しい里山とゆるやかな丘陵地、そして奥多摩の山々へ続く豊かな緑と、そこから湧き出しいくつもの沢すじを集めて大地を潤す大小河川の恵みによってもたらされたもの。
今こそ、あらためて私たちは、このすばらしい水と緑の恵みに感謝を込めて、理解と親しみを深める時が来ていると思います。
世代もジャンルも国境も越えた、人々とアートと自然の交わりが、未来へ向けて力強く合流して行くことを願います。
